INNOVATIVE AZIMUTHAL BRAKE GROUP CLAVIJO.
CLAVIJO GROUP solar trackers can incorporate a unique patented brake azimuth. It acts as a clamp on the crown of guidance and pinion gear motor, thereby eliminating the dynamic loads that multiply the force of the wind, which is critical in other market followers. Moreover, in addition to this security system, the engine features an electric brake reduction in case of strong winds hydraulic brake assistance and dampens the effect of the motor on the follower elements, thus avoiding breakage and helping to increase the life machine and its major elements. Both brakes are placed on opposite sides of the crown, spreading efforts received and gave a great stability to the follower, who along with his strength helps increase safety to give the design of this machine.

June 2010600 Kw INSTALLED IN MAINLAND GREECE AND ISLANDS
The European companies which install and promote photovoltaic solar parks are still committed to the solar tracker technology of Grupo Clavijo. In Greece a total of 600 Kw are being installed in various areas of the country: Salonica, Peloponeso and Crete. 200 Kw will use the advanced SR25 dual axis tracker characterised by its great performance and reliability. Another 400 Kw will use the SC05 single axis tracker which combines simplicity and productivity.
Grupo Clavijo is continuing to expand in Europe where it has various developments in progress as well as in the USA.
GRUPO CLAVIJO: NEW SOLAR FARMS IN ITALY AND FRANCE
Botontano (Italy) 2.6MW
The Spanish firm GRUPO CLAVIJO has installed a new 2.6 Mw solar photovoltaic park in the Italian town of Botontano (Italy), on a surface area of 6 hectares.
Curbans (France) 33MW
In Curbans (France) the largest solar installation in France is being built with a total power of 33 Mw on a surface area of 70 hectares.
In both cases the fixed structures designed and manufactured by CLAVIJO have been used.
