MODELS

* Measurements are provided as a guideline only, as they may vary based on the truck equipment and the lorry model.

DESCRIPTION

Feed truck made entirely from aluminium and mounted over a steel semi-trailer, used for transporting feed and cereals.
Loading is gravity-assisted, through the open top of the truck, following removal of the tarpaulin cover.
Feed is unloaded via four or five hydraulically-activated conveyor belts. The pressurised hydraulic oil is produced by a hydraulic pump activated either through the lorry power take-off or by an auxiliary motor installed for this purpose.

DESIGN

Rigid trucks are designed to transport feed and cereals, taking into account product and product handling aspects, such as capacity, distribution, dimensions, unloading system, etc., as well as technical transport aspects, namely manoeuvrability, safety, tare weight, useful life, etc.

  • High capacity: 24.4.....36.0 m3
  • Low tare weight
  • Easily accessible.....Minimum height
  • Easily manoeuvrable.....Minimum length

CONSTRUCTION

The truck is made entirely from mechanically-shaped aluminium plate welded continuously.

  • Laminated section frame to make the trailer chassis rigid and prevent undesired torsions.
  • The truck rests over the entire length of the chassis and is supported by box beams to prevent fissures in the chassis and tank.
  • The truck is secured to the lorry with plate brackets reinforced with springs to absorb vibrations.
  • Alloy aluminium plate: 5086 H111.
  • Thickness:
    - Side coverings: 3 mm.
    - Box beams: 11 mm.
    - Other parts: 4 mm.
  • Completely watertight compartments.
  • Lightweight tramex platform over compartments.
  • Safety handrail.
  • Two ladders for accessing the top of the truck (1 front + 1 rear).

UNLOADING SYSTEM

The unloading system is designed to facilitate unloading of all types of feeds and to guarantee that compartments are completely watertight, while minimising truck unloading and cleaning times.
  • High unloading capacity: ±1,000-1,300 Kg/minute.
  • Completely watertight hatches, with a hydraulic cylinder-operated opening and closing system (1 or 2, depending on hatch length).
  • Unloading via 4 or 5 conveyors activated by independent hydraulic motors:
    - Extraction: 2.
    - Cross: 0 or 1 (depending on the model).
    - Vertical revolver: 1.
    - Positionable: 1.
  • The vertical conveyor-positionable conveyor unit turns using a crown-screw activated by hydraulic motor. Crown made from bronze aluminium alloy.
  • Positioning of elevating conveyor via hydraulic cylinder.
  • The end of the elevating conveyor can be extended to help fit the chutes in the silos. This is done with a hydraulic cylinder.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

This is undoubtedly one of the most essential tanker components, given that all features are activated using hydraulic motors or cylinders.
All hydraulic components come as standard features and are leading market brands.

  • Controls are grouped on the rear left-hand side, in a lockable case with interior lighting.
  • Pressure control manometers.
  • Two or three channel remote control to control the degrees of freedom of the unloading unit:
    - Vertical turn.
    - Raise/lower positionable conveyor.
  • Extend/retract end of the extendable conveyor (optional).

  • Hydraulic transmission via pump activated through the tractor unit reinforced power take-off or, optionally, via an auxiliary motor installed in the truck for this purpose.
  • Hydraulic pump: Denison.
  • Hydraulic motors: Eaton.
  • Return oil filter with manometer.
  • Dichromate steel piping.

Dichromate steel piping

The tanker is outfitted with very complete standard equipment.

  • Pneumatically-activated handrail.
  • PVC tarpaulin top cover.
  • Obligatory lights plus two side lights and one light on the elevating conveyor.
  • Water tank.
  • Extinguisher and support with case (amount depends on regulations).
  • Case in rear right-hand side with lock for auxiliary uses (when auto-loading option is not included).

OPTIONAL TRUCK EQUIPMENT

Trucks may be supplied with the following additional equipment:

  • Installed side trays and tarpaulins.
  • Mobile auto-loading conveyor.
  • Fixed auto-loading conveyor.
  • Telescopic conveyor.
  • Bridge with bearings.
  • Cleaning system.
  • Add or remove a compartment.
  • Vinyl lettering.
  • Truck accelerator (control box).

FINISH

Trucks are finished in a modern paint cabin with an advanced process comprising two coats of epoxy primer and two coats of acrylic enamel with polyurethane. This results in an attractive and long-lasting finish. Optionally, trucks may be personalised with lettering.

  • Cover thickness: 105-120 m.
  • Interior of truck finished with the material itself.
  • Tanker exterior finished in colour of customer’s choice.
  • Optional lettering.

CLEANING SYSTEM

The CLAVIJO cleaning system guarantees thorough cleaning of the unloading system conveyor channels, preventing cross-contamination among different batches transported.

This system is particularly important when considering the growing trend of preparing feeds that are highly specific to each breed and time of breeding.

The vehicle is cleaned using an independent pneumatic system drawing from the air generated by the vehicle itself.

How it works:

After feed is unloaded, the hatches are closed to allow the cleaning process to begin. We recommend activating the horizontal unloading conveyors as well, given that, using the air from the blowers, they help push any remaining feed to the rear of the truck.

The truck is automatically programmed to run the cleaning feature from the front of the tanker toward the rear, using blowers placed along the length of the interior.
